Come and join us in our cosy studio learning the art of hand building. Maybe you have an idea of what you would like to create or want to learn a new skill? Our workshops are tailored to you. Hand building covers vast areas of pottery such as slab building, coil pots, slip casting, mould making and much more.
These workshops are available as:-
- 1-1 session where you will have my undivided attention in guiding you to your desired result.
- Couples or group bookings. (2 - 4 people) Have fun and get hands on with the clay with your patrtner, bestie or family in our wholesome creative studio atmosphere.
Create your own vases, dinnerware, plant pots, sculptures or decor using various hand building techniques. The workshops run for 2 hours and include all your materials and firing.
Creations can be dip glazed in a glaze colour of your choice included in the price, or alternatievly come and glaze your own pieces in one of our glazing workshops.

What you will learn and make: I will teach you the basic techniques of hand building with clay. I will take you through the ancient old processes of how to create you very own unique pieces of pottery. Options can be discussed on purchase and before coming to the workshop to make sure you achieve your desired result.
What should I bring: You do to need to bring anything but yourselves, all the materials are provided for you. If you would like to bring your own things to emboss your clay such as foliage, lace, stamps etc you are more than welcome. If you could please wear old clothes, tie long hair back and have short nails if you can.
